Just finished a Masters of Theological Studies at Duke Divinity School. Raised EV Free. Got interested in "symbolic action" in 1985 while studying performance art (at Biola U oddly enough). Felt I'd come home when I started attending a liturgical church in 1989. Episcopalian since 1994. Interested in performative theory and linguistics. Wrote my thesis on Epis. Liturgy in Haiti.

Living Rite is a three to five day workshop during which participants get to develop a (Christian) worship service over time, from scratch.
Starting with only a Bible, we meet daily for morning and evening prayer which we also develop as we go. Using the readings that eventually will be proclaimed at the Eucharist, we begin to make decisions about avery aspect of worship: movement, objects, music, texts (including translations). Much of the time outside MP and EP is spent developing these. I´m trying to find a venue here in Santa Fe to do it maybe next fall.
