Thanks for inviting me, Jay. I look forward to reading the different articles and so forth on this site. I will gladly participate!
Hi, Jay! We actually met at NAAL last month: at the Anglican pre-meeting. It's nice to be in touch.
I am exploring the development of the Holy Week liturgies in the 1979 BCP (which were the first official HW rites in the Anglican Communion). The really fascinating thing to me is that there is the official part of the story; and the grassroots part: looking at what communities cobbled together for themselves before official rites were available. I am going to try and find folks who can tell me about their experiences with this in the 1950s and 60s. I am amazed (and grateful, actually) that no one has explored this part of PB revision in depth yet.

About Me:
As of February, 2009, I am a consultant in pastoral liturgy and missional leadership formation through Table Song: Eighth Day Perspectives, and assistant professor of liturgics and pastoral theology at Huron University College, London, Ontario, Canada. My current ministry is supported by twenty-one years of experience as a presbyter in parish settings. My graduate work in Liturgical Studies was completed at the University of Notre Dame, Indiana, and I earned a doctoral degree in Homiletics through the Association of Chicago Theological Schools (Thesis: “Calling the Church to Its Heart: Preaching, Parish Catechumenate and the Revitalization of the Twenty-first Century Congregation”). I am a regular participant and presenter in the Christian Initiation Seminar of the North American Academy of Liturgy. I serve as President of the Associated Parishes for Liturgy and Mission and on the Board of Directors of the North American Association for the Catechumenate.
