Holy Week liturgies in the Episcopal Church
Hi, all,
I am working on my dissertation on the development of the Holy Week liturgies in the Episcopal Church. A very important part of this largely untold story is the grassroots rites parishes and communities put together and used before official rites were available. If anyone has any experiences with these they would be willing to share, I'd appreciate it.
I'm also looking for experiences with the early official and semi-official rites: AP's 1958 Holy Week Offices, The Book of Offices (1960), and the liturgies in The Church Year (Prayer Book Studies 19, 1970).
